1. We filipinos are mild drinkers. We only drink for what reasons?
- We filipinos drink for only three reasons, we drink when we are sad. We drink when we are very happy. And we drink for any other reasons.

- My favorite line is "the coconut tree represents the Philippines. It stands up to the sky, but then its leaves sway down to earth as if remembering the kand that gave it life." ☺

- The coconut tree represents the Philippines.

- The pine tree represents the America.
5. How can we say that filipinos are mild drinkers? Based on the story.
- Filipinos are mild drinkers because sometimes we filipinos are making it a habit. And also because of our native alcohol the lambanog.
Summary
There was an American who wanted some more whiskey. So what he did was to go to a Filipino and ask him where to find some, Joe was the name the American. The Filipino said he doesn't drink beer or whiskey, vodka and such because filipinos are mild drinkers. But the Filipino offered Joe for some lambanog. Joe didn't refuse. So they went to the Filipino's house and drank the lambanog. Joe got so drunk he couldn't think anymore and then he passed out. So the Filipino bring Joe all the way to his camp, where his friends where looking for him too. The American soldiers all thank the Filipino for bringing Joe back.

Base on the story, I will connect my life to it. I was like the Filipino farmer because I'm helping other people and I'm doing good to others, and I'm friendly. Sharing is my first doing like the Filipino farmer shares about the native Filipino beer. I'm proud of my nationality like the farmer and also I'm entertaining a visitor who go to our home. And the Joe, is my old classmate. I don't know if he's really very conceited or not about what he have or what he try.
